Jorge Lorenzo predicts there will be a big fight between him and Dani Pedrosa in MotoGP San Marino, Sunday (16/9). Although Lorenzo was still there at the top of the standings, he is only 13 points ahead of Pedrosa in second.
"We lost the pole position, but the record is not too much of our time," said Lorenzo, who beat Pedrosa in the qualifying session the day before. "We are very close to Dani, so I guess everyone is waiting for the big fight."
Lorenzo will start from second position, behind Pedrosa. He was followed by Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider, Cal Crutchlow in third place.
"We are both in good physical condition. We also want to win. We will undergo a tough race in the last six series. I think we were both ready, so you'll see what happens," added Lorenzo.
