Home-grown hero - Marcus Kehr

Germany's Marcus Kehr is one rider who will not forget the 87th FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) any time soon. As his nation's best enduro racer, competing away from home in the Enduro World Championship is something the KTM mounted rider knows all about. But living just fifteen kilometres from the enduro Mecca of Zshopau, Marcus is, more than any other German competitor, competing on home soil."The support I've been getting from the supporters has been amazing," explained Marcus at the FIM ISDE press conference at the end of day four. "On every special test, almost on every uphill in the forest, there are German enduro fans cheering and shouting - it's just amazing."Thirteenth in the overall individual classification, not even the wet weather at the start of day four has dampened Marcus' enthusiasm for this year's ISDE. "I'm not going to forget this race for a long time. The atmosphere is just great. Getting to race in the ISDE in your home country is a real honour, getting to race so close to my home just makes it even better."Communication G2F Media - www.g2fmedia.com -
