Despite a wet start France maintain ISDE dominance on day four in Germany

Day 4: At the end of a wet and muddy day of racing at the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), France maintain their place as the outright fastest nation in the event. Leading the FIM World Trophy competition, FIM Junior World Trophy class and the Women's World Trophy classifications, they remain very much the nation to beat.After day four of the FIM ISDE the position at the top of the standings remain unchanged as France continue to lead the FIM World Trophy team competition. Delivering yet another dominant display of riding the French team made light work of the wet and muddy terrain to extend their lead in the event. With Christophe Nambotin – KTM posting the fastest time of the day, the French squad increase their advantage to thirty-two minutes over Australia. Although hampered by injuries to both Glenn Kearney – Husqvarna and Toby Price – KTM, Australia still maintain a comfortable lead over Italy. Lead by Husqvarna mounted Alex Salvini, Italy stay third in the overall standings with just two days remaining. By ending day four in fifth place in the individual overall standings, Eero Remes – KTM helped Finland to regain control of fourth place and pushed Spain back into fifth. Spain now trail Finland by one- minute and nineteen seconds.In the FIM Junior World Trophy team event, France continue to hold onto the lead. However, at the end of a tough day of racing they were only able to increase their advantage over Great Britain by twenty-four seconds. With two days left in the FIM ISDE the margin between the two leading nations remains tight with Great Britain trailing France by only one-minute and fifty-two seconds. Day four saw another solid USA performance as they held onto their third place position. With Australia in fourth, Portugal completed the top five positions after four days of racing.In the FIM Women's World Trophy competition, France look all but assured of victory with only two days of racing remaining. Again setting the fastest time of the day, France now lead Germany by almost one hour and forty minutes. After the fourth day of competition the battle for second place saw Germany move ahead of Australia. Clearly enjoying the muddier and more technical conditions that competitors faced on day four, Germany moved into second position, sixteen minutes ahead of their nearest rivals.In the Enduro 1 class France's Antoine Meo - KTM topped the classification at the end of day four to extend his lead to four minutes over Finland's Eero Remes – KTM. With Remes in second position, France's Rodrig Thain - Honda completes the top three. Grabbing the Enduro 2 category win on day four France's Johnny Aubert – KTM took control of the class lead and now heads Husaberg's Pela Renet by seventeen seconds. Italy's Alex Salvini - Husqvarna rounded out the top three. Placing as the fastest rider in the individual overall classification, Nambotin saw his lead in the Enduro 3 class grow to over seven minutes ahead of Australia's Toby Price while Sweden's Joakim Ljunggren – Husaberg trails Price less than forty seconds.Live and full event results can be found at www.fim-isde-live.info
