Forcefield Race-Lite Vest

It is often said that the best protection comes from the gear that you will actually wear. Forcefield is a brand that excels at producing armor which is not only easy to wear, but also extremely effective. Already well known for award winning race back protectors like the Pro Sub 4, Forcefield has combined their CE level 2 protection with a lightweight, technical fleece vest to create the ultimate in everyday armor - the Race-Lite Vest.

This Race-Lite vest is easily one of the most comfortable pieces of protective gear that we have tried at Riders Discount. It’s so light and flexible that it is easy to forget that you are even wearing it. The vest itself is made of a technical fleece that is very soft and breathable. It features a full front zip that works in conjunction with the adjustable waist strap to hold the back protector right where it needs to be in order to provide the most coverage. A grippy, elastic strip also runs around the bottom to prevent the vest from sliding up as you move.

The back protector in the Race-Lite vest carries the same CE Level 2 certification as their top of the line Pro Sub 4, only it is thinner and even more flexible. 3D moulding and multiple layers of flexible, energy absorbing materials allow the protector to not only conform to the body’s natural shape, but to also take multiple impacts. This ability to take repeated hits is another major factor that helps set Forcefield apart from the hard-shelled competition.

Forcefield products are not yet listed on our website, so if you’re interested in the Race-Lite vest, or any of their other protectors, you can get in touch with Brad and he’ll be happy to assist you. Feel free to give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 810, or send him a PM through the forum. If email is more convenient, you can send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!

The low profile back protector is lightweight and flexible enough to conform to your body. It is also removable so that you can wash the vest.

It’s amazing that such a small amount of the Forcefield material can absorb the amount of energy necessary to be CE level 2 certified..

An elastic band with rubber grip pads helps keep the vest from sliding up on you.
