Goodbye Darryl Hiddle…

The FIM and Motorcycling Australia are deeply saddened by the passing away of Darryl Hiddle, FIM Board of Director Member & FIM Oceania President, former President of Motorcycling Australia and Manager & President of Motorcycling Victoria. Darryl passed away peacefully yesterday evening alongside his family and close friends.Darryl's contribution to motorcycle sport began in 1966 and his dedication and service has been shown through the various positions he has held within the sport. FIM President Vito Ippolito said "It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing away of Darryl Hiddle. He contributed much to motorcycling and all the facets of our sport, whether in Victoria or in the rest of Australia or around the world. His passion and personal dedication as well as his competences, qualities and sense of humour were greatly appreciated by the entire FIM family. Darryl will be missed without any doubt. On behalf of the FIM Administration and the FIM family, I would like to extend to Darryl's wife Lynne, to his family and his many friends our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences."
