After the great debut aboard the Husaberg 2013 FE 250 in the E1 class at the final round of Enduro World Championship 2012, where for the first time in the brand's history a rider aboard a Husaberg bike participated in the E1 class of the EWC, the Italian rider from Bergamo signed a two-year agreement with the Husaberg Factory Racing Team.Thomas Oldrati will ride under the Husaberg colours alongside the existing Husaberg Factory Racing Team riders, Pela Renet, Oriol Mena, Joakim Ljunggren and Mathias Bellino in the 2013 and 2014 Enduro World Championship. With this addition to the team, Husaberg Factory Racing Team managed by Thomas Gustavsson will now be present in all EWC classes.Besides the EWC final round in Brignoles Oldrati has already competed onboard the yellow and blue 250 4-stroke bike this season at the Italian National Enduro Championship races and at the International Six Days Enduro in Germany, so he's already got some experiences riding the Husaberg FE 250. Claiming impressive speed and good results this relationship came to the point when Angelo Crippa, managing director of Husaberg's Italian subsidiary invited him to join the Factory Team.The young Italian rider will compete in the E1 class of the Enduro World Championship as a part of the Factory Racing Team directly supported by Husaberg, as well as in the Italian Enduro Championship for the Team GP-Motorsport, managed by Chicco Piana and Sabrina Giacobazzi.Thomas Oldrati has been a professional rider since 2006 when he won the European Enduro Championship aboard a TE 125. In 2008 he won the FIM Youth Enduro Cup with the KTM 125 and then joined the Team Farioli in 2009 and stayed with them till 2011.
