The FIM team is in mourning
The FIM team has lost one of its members last night. Christian Mercier, Cross-Country Rallies and Enduro Commissions Coordinator, tragically passed away following a car accident. Christian had been with the FIM since 2001. During all those 11 years, everyone around him recognised his passion, his professionalism and also his capacity for joy and good humour.FIM President Vito Ippolito said on learning the news: "I am deeply shocked and saddened by this tragic loss. I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to Christian's family and friends. Christian was a highly valued member of the FIM staff. We shall all miss him very much."FIM CEO, Stéphane Desprez added: "Christian was a pillar within the FIM. He will be remembered as an ambassador for his disciplines and as a passionate advocate for motorcycling."In these tragic circumstances we extend our thoughts and deepest friendship to his family, his relatives and many friends.Photo Dario Agrati
