AGV has expanded their extremely popular line of Valentino Rossi replica graphics for their extremely affordable K3 helmet by releasing two brand new models - the 46 and the Icon.
The K3 Rossi Icon sports graphics that were used by Valentino when he won the Mugello Grand Prix aboard the legendary, 990 cc V5 powered Honda RC211V in 2002. The graphics were modeled after his father’s helmet design and feature an Italian flag motif. Additional details include his signature on the front left side, a number of small icons running around the base of the helmet that represent different aspects of Rossi’s life.
The design found on the K3 46 is based on the 2003 variant of Rossi’s famous Sun and Moon theme. AGV chose to alter the original by dropping a lot of the yellow background and leaving the bright colors on a gloss black backdrop. While some die-hard Rossi fans may consider it sacrilege to modify a classic design, we think it turned out very well.
