Saying that Nicky Hayden’s helmet from the 2012 Indianapolis GP turned some heads would be an understatement. In fact, it was so popular that Arai decided to produce a small run for sale. With less than 200 of these available in the US, the Nicky GP “Easy Rider” edition of the Corsair-V is a true limited edition.
The design of the helmet pays homage to the American flag half-helmet worn by Peter Fonda in the film Easy Rider. The lower front even has Nicky’s nose, mouth and chin, giving the illusion that it actually is a half-helmet. At the rear, a caricature of Hayden is seen sporting his signature smirk while cruising Route 69 on a chopper.
