Marc Coma competing in 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally begins in Lima, Peru on the Pacific coast for the first time in the event’s history and travels through Argentina to the finish in Santiago, Chile. For the first time, the desert stages will make an appearance in the first few days of the rally.
