Indian Grand Prix to skip a year in 2014 | 2014 F1 calendar
WRC 2 preview: Rally Finland
- Esapekka Lappi starts as favourite in the WRC 2 category as the Finn aims to make up for lost ground on his home round. The Skoda Fabia S2000 driver retired from the opening counter in Monte Carlo, but scored maximum points in Portugal and lies 68 points behind series leader Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari.*
- The Qatari does not compete here and the man who stands to benefit most is Robert Kubica [pictured]. The Pole is fourth in the standings, having won the previous two rounds in Greece and Italy, and another strong performance here in a Citroen DS3 RRC could see the ex-Formula 1 driver move even closer to the top.*
- In action for the first time in the WRC is the new Ford Fiesta R5, the first of the R5 category cars to appear at the top level. Elfyn Evans and Robert Barrable, second in Portugal on his only outing so far, are fancied to go well but keep an eye out also for Autotek-entered duo Eyvind Brynildsen, from Norway, and Jari Ketomaa, who will be a threat on home ground.*
- Second-placed Nicolas Fuchs is also absent here, but Yazeed Al Rajhi returns in a Fiesta RRC for the first time since breaking vertebrae in a crash during the Ha'il International Cross-Country Rally in Saudi Arabia in March.

Bell Star Carbon Race Day Helmet
As with the previous Bell Star Carbon helmets, this version uses an outer shell that is made from 100% carbon fiber. Bell spent a great deal of time engineering the shell to be not only lightweight and strong, but very aerodynamic as well. What they came up with was an angular shape with a uniquely contoured spoiler, both of which make this helmet extremely stable and resistant to buffeting. Air is also directed into the variety of strategically placed vents at the front in order to push warm, stale air out through the exhaust vents at the back. All vents are independently adjustable so that you can dial in the ventilation for a variety of conditions.
Another feature that goes unchanged is the shield system. The Star Carbon uses their fog and scratch resistant NutraFog II face shield in order to keep your view clear. Its also treated with a potent anti-UV coating so that you dont have to worry about your face being burnt red after a days ride in the sun. Bells 3Mode Shield allows you to quickly lock the visor down, crack it open for added ventilation and swap out faceshields with no tools required. And dont forget to ask about a Bell Transitions SolFX Photochromatic faceshield. These visors have the same great benefits of the included unit, but also change their tint based upon lighting conditions. They darken quickly (~10 seconds) when the sun is out for squint-free daytime riding.
The new Bell Star Carbon comes in three different styles - the Matte Carbon, Airtrix Laguna, and the Race Day shown here.
If you would like to place an order, or get information on the Star Carbon Matte, or any other Bell helmet, you can get in touch with Brad through this forum or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 810. The Bikers Reunion Is Just Like Every Other Motorcycle Rally Except That It's Not Video
Not only is the event full of the usual motorcycle rally fun and general insanity, but bikers raised more than $100,000 for the cancer ward at a local hospital.
